Mists are heavy in the air
Tree branches rattle,
O they sound so eerie.

In this quiet space,
where souls rest in peace,
what would they release?

One can hear the pace
of someone in a chase,
Can’t we see a face?

Coming out of her lair,
looking at you, semi glare.
Don’t just stare, but be scared.
Happy Halloween! i really wanted to write something that sounds spooky but i really need to practice more on my poetry! Sorry for the cheesy-ness of it

So much things to do so little time. Yesterday was a really not good day.. and it wasn’t even Friday the 13th yet. I found out that I need to be accepted by a school by May 17/18 and the classes needs to start before August 17/18. Crap! Most programs start on Fall semester, which is the end of August. If I can’t make to those deadline, I have to fly back home, reprocess my visa, then come back here –> waste money, time, and energy. So, I called one of the Uni I applied and they do have a summer intake (yeay!) but the program I applied to is fully online courses so no international student can take it (boo!). Freaking out. So I told the advisor that I’ll look up the catalog and see if there’s any other program that I’m interested in.
Around noon, I made my way to the gas station to fill in the tank before going to Octavia, NE (where ever hell that is??). Done filling up my car, I went back in and started the engine. No sound. No movement. No life. Car. Break. Down. Crap! So I called the boss and told her I can’t make it to Octavia. Boss hung up before I could say sorry. Several calls to friends later, help came. The boys jumpstarted my car and it came to life. Time to drive it to the mechanic and find out what’s wrong with it. Please… nothing more than $100, I’ve put so much money on the car already. My mechanic told me the starter was bad. Told him back that he just changed it for me a few months a go and it should still be under warranty. He checked his book and agreed with me. So instead of making me pay $200-300, he only charged me $55 for labor fee (Yeay!! That’s the reason we need to befriend our mechanic).
But no happy ending yet. I still couldn’t figure out how to get I-20 form before May 17. So today after I woke up, I called the same uni and told the advisor that I’m interested in 2 programs. He told me that one of them could work if it works for me. I told him (hell) yes! and o’course I told him my “big future plan”. He agreed with me that the program will work out ok. So he sent me an email listing other documents I need to complete my application and after that I should be ready to assessed… and determined whether I get in or not. Phew…! At least, it’s one step closer.
