First in this blog’s Disney series: Epcot. When I first arrived it didn’t feel like I was in a Disney park (where’s the castle?), but when I saw these mouse logos beautifully trimmed on the floral beds I knew I was on the process of being Mickeyfied.

During my visit, Epcot was having a garden festival. Disney characters rose from the ground in the form of plants sculptures. These Disney’s princesses were no exception. Their featureless green faces creep some kids out (especially yours, Snow White) but they’re beautiful nonetheless. My favorite was actually The Beauty and the Beast series with Mrs. Potts, Chip, and others.

No Disney’s trip is complete without having pictures with your favorite characters. I proudly present me and Donald! We’re buddies… for the whole 30 seconds that this picture was taken.
Recap of that day: We spent 9 hours in the park, an ample time to walk through the whole park space, did 6 rides, and many trips to the baby rooms (I was visiting with my friends and their 2 kids). Epcot’s world pavilions are interesting and offer the most diversified food choices compared to the other Disney parks. We had lunch at the Moroccan pavilion and it was good.I’m not big on Disney rides as they’re mellowed down for the kids but the Test Track ride was my favorite.

So jealous of yooouu! and you met my childhood idol
