Monday was the first day of training for my new job. It started from 5pm til around 9pm. Honestly, it’s so-so. I have a weird feelings that the trainer(s) don’t really put hearts into it. The first speaker was super stingy for smiles and she had us taking turn to read lines after lines on the manuals aloud, noted just a couple of them, and said “you can read the rest on your own time”. What the? The second trainer was kinda better. She interacted pretty well with us. However, like the first one, she seemed to be in a hurry and rushing through stuff. It was definitely an info overload and I was so confused processing them, let alone asking questions. Well, maybe because it’s too late in the day, plus they had to work before our training start. I wonder why don’t they just do it in the morning or earlier in the day like 2pm maybe so that we don’t need to stay there til too late in the evening. Aaah, one day is down… four more to go!!! Instant Messenger is probably the best invention ever. Well, i think the internet is.. but IM just make it even better. Not only it allows us to talk to our friends and family, it also serves as a media to chat randomly… just by clicking on one name that I haven’t talked for ages and ZAM!! (it’s a new word from playing scrabbles just now) We’re thrown back in time… all the way to elementary school days. Oh so nostalgic! (more…)
